I think this is my favorite piece of video footage since Jon Stewart told off Tucker Carlson on Crossfire. Seriously, watch it again and again, it just gets better.

At the National Conference for Media Reform, Bill O’Reilly producer Porter Barry ambushes journalist Bill Moyers and asks him why he won’t appear on The O’Reilly Factor. Moyers, a class act to the last, makes Barry look like the small and petty man he is. But the joke is on Barry, because other journalists, including Uptake correspondent Noah Kunin, who got this raw footage, turned tables on ol’ Porter and gave him a little taste of the FOX News-style ambush journalism. I don’t think he liked it much.

23. W-A-Y too much going on to summarize

The last thing Moyers said before walking away was "If you need a job, I might have some recommendations for you."

The guy tried to bully Moyers into appearing on O'Reilly's show. Moyers reminded him...repeatedly...that he was the first to extend the invitation to O'Reilly to be on HIS show, and the invitation was not accepted.

Moyers, using nothing but calmly spoken and appropriate words, beat this guy like the proverbial red-headed stepchild. Told him...repeatedly...that Rupert Murdoch and Bill O'Reilly should show him more respect. Made it abundantly clear that he was carrying water for Fox News while smiling calmly and referring to him as a "professional" who deserved better.

The more Moyers refused to take the bait, the more ruffled this guy's feathers became.

Then, when Moyers left, the other reporters swooped down on him and finished the job...and THEY were all appropriate and professional in their questioning, too.

Especially whoever asked him to elaborate on the "game playing" allegation he made to Moyers, basically calling him on his bs. It's so good to see true journalists at work!

Lil' whippersnapper didn't know O'Lielly sent him into a lion's den. People forget that Bill Moyers was LBJ's press secretary. Moyers has been turning tables for over 40 years. And then to walk off and leave the poor schmuck bare to the other reporters, like so much leftover meat. Deeelicious!
