John McCain calls his wife a C****T....
I don't think women will support him once they know this... Spread it around...

Book: McCain temper boiled over in '92 tirade, called wife a 'cunt'

John McCain's temper is well documented. He's called opponents and colleagues "shitheads," "assholes" and in at least one case "a fucking jerk."

But a new book on the presumptive Republican nominee will air perhaps the most shocking angry exchange to date.

The Real McCain by Cliff Schecter, which will arrive in bookstores next month, reports an angry exchange between McCain and his wife that happened in full view of aides and reporters during a 1992 campaign stop. An advance copy of the book was obtained by RAW STORY.

Three reporters from Arizona, on the condition of anonymity, also let me in on another incident involving McCain's intemperateness. In his 1992 Senate bid, McCain was joined on the campaign trail by his wife, Cindy, as well as campaign aide Doug Cole and consultant Wes Gullett. At one point, Cindy playfully twirled McCain's hair and said, "You're getting a little thin up there." McCain's face reddened, and he responded, "At least I don't plaster on the makeup like a trollop, you cunt." McCain's excuse was that it had been a long day. If elected president of the United States, McCain would have many long days.
The man who was known as "McNasty" in high school has erupted in foul-languaged tirades at political foes and congressional colleagues more-or-less throughout his career, and his quickness to anger has been an issue on the presidential campaign trail as evidence of his fury has surfaced.

As Schecter notes, McCain's rage is not limited to the political spectrum, and even his family cannot be spared the brute force of his anger. Continued>>>>

1. I agree with you...
this should be sent around and around and around and when he appears places, there should be protesters with signs - appropriate of course - calling people's attention to this. If a Dem had done this, it would be all over...I mean, all over. This is a transcendent word...unused for the most part in the USA by anyone except the lowest of the low. Even by my standards, it is off the charts..no excuse for that word EVER.

2. I heard about that on several radio shows a while ago. I told my
cousin who lives in Pgh, Pa. about it, and she said she'd NEVER vote for him after hearing that! She's a Dem, but sometimes can be swayed by a smoothe talking Pub.

I agree with you. We should spread this info broad & wide! The only problem I see is figuring out just how to do that. Putting that kind of language in an email or LTTE just doesn't work well!

3. Actually...
I sort of like the fact that he used the word 'trollop'. It's fairly literate, has interesting origins, and is vaguely Henry Miller-esque.
Tthe 'other' word is also Miller-esque, but unacceptable...

5. What I found interesting was...
...how he compared how his wife puts on her make-up to how he wears his.

HDTV is the worst thing that ever happened to him.

I saw him lately w/o his full makeup and he looked like a "before" pic for dermatologic texts.

10. HDTV has not been kind to many...
...in fact, I remember reading that the porn people were not pleased with what it was doing to them!

Make-up: It's not just for trollops anymore!™

12. Something tells me he tries very hard to hide it...
...I suspect that when he made that speech in Kenner, Louisiana June 3rd, he was making that odd smile so that he wouldn't lose his temper.

I could be wrong and often am, but my spidey senses are tingling...

9. Yawn. Reminds me of the stories of the flying lamps in the Clinton White House.
Challenge him on actual issues. That's what will decide the election.

13. It's not the words he uses that bother me
We've seen quite a few of them right here on DU. :D

It's the fact that he's so hot-headed, that even some of his own Republicans get the willies. It's his policies. It's...

It's the fact that he's a pasty old reactionary who has shit for brains and a maggot-infested hunk of meat for a heart.

15. This must be carefully studied ...

This must carefully be studied. If Obama can needle him in a "friendly" way and provoke an outburst during a debate , that would be golden.

16. And that was 1992 ~ this is 2008
He probably is still calling her that now.

If that is what he says in public, image the disrespect in Private.

That's why I don't want to think that clear thinking woman would see him as advancing the cause of woman.

He wouuld set us back 50 years.
