Crying.
I heard Hillary talk today and am on the brink of bursting into to tears. I recognized it was over a month ago but reality is setting in. Even if I switched my support to Obama a week ago my heart was still with Hillary and I am truly sad she is not the nominee. I am also happy that it is over and we can move on. Later I am going to climb under the covers, grab a box of little debbie boston cream rolls, pop in season one of the Golden Girls and cry and cry and Tomorrow I am going to get up and start working my ass off for the next president of the us of a.:patriot:

2. yep, 'cause as Scarlett O'Hara said, "Tomorrow is another day."
But I hear you. I was at a picnic at noon today and was glad to be away from any media. However, I'm definitely squarely on the Obama bandwagon now and looking forward to a victory in November.

3. I was in tears too, but of pride and happiness at the home run
Senator Clinton hit for herself, her party, our nation, and the next President.
I'm sorry for your sadness, and I really do hope you can take justifiable pride in her race - truly a historic event too! And thank you for your pledge to keep up the fight, with and for all of us.

7. That's where men and women are different:
A man would grab a box of Drake's WingDings or a whole Entenmen's Devil's Food Cake. ;-)

9. that was me in 2004 after Dean dropped
It's funny how things work out though because I couldn't be happier with where Dean is and the work he's doing. My guess is that the same will be said of HRC four years from now.

10. It is that sense of our "collectivity" that makes me cry when I hear someone genuinely recognize
what I KNOW to be the truth; ALL of us are share something absolutely vital with everyone else. I know this is true from belonging to an absolutely enormous and quite diverse Family.

Stress and tensions pull on our connections, so when someone reaffirms the basics, it is very cathartic.

I started to choke up too, when Senator Clinton said not to sacrifice one moment to the past and that NO ONE is excluded.

14. I cried too...
and I wasn't one of her supporters.

She showed the best of herself today and the best of the Democrat Party, and to look at what we've done this year... welll... it's just plain moving.

Here's to tomorrow ... a new day...

21. i was not supporting Hillary (was peeved with her campaign, even), but her speech had me in tears
...from the reference to Seneca Falls on through to the end. it was an historic speech and very moving in its own right. i can completely imagine the effect it had on her supporters.

22. I wasn't able to hear the speech. I'm glad. I would have started getting
upset and crying if I had heard her. And I didn't support her candidacy. But still, I respect her and wish her well. She would have been a great president, too, I bet.
