Just one thing, that would be one bit. In US slang a bit is a quarter or 25 cents. So, "AND don't like it one bit (a bit)". In other words, not worth much. Two bits is, of course, fifty cents.

I'm a Tennessean, btw, so calling our whiskey "yack" is fightin' words.

BTW, it's sour mash, not distilled wine. You have to develop a taste for it, but it's actually quite good once you distinguish the fact that it's not SUPPOSED to taste like brandy.
