Protesters Videotape Customers at New Vacaville Sex Shop

VACAVILLE, CA - The business is only one week old, but already it's drawing protests in Vacaville. In fact, those against the new Secrets Boutique lingerie shop are videotaping customers going in and out of the store, then plan to put that tape up on the Internet.

Holding a sign saying "Smile, You're on YouTube," protestors have a small camera set up and have been gathering in front of the store on East Monte Vista Avenue since it opened on the frontage road of Interstate 80 just west of the Nut Tree.

The point of controversy isn't the lingerie or body oils sold inside, but an adults-only room in the back of the store. The room is filled with sex toys and pornographic DVDs.

"We believe this is not the right place for a store with a high volume of pornography and other explicit adult materials to be sold," said Jeremy White, a local youth pastor leading the protest. "I don't see a lot of merit in the proliferation of pornography."

Vacaville is one screwed up city. There may be fine people in the area, but I have never met them. I have encountered pig and cousin fuckers, though. The city has some of those mega churches that seem to attract sheeple, the ones that don't know how to think for themselves. Dimes to donuts says you will find one of these Fundy churches spearheading this ridiculous bit of protesting. Get a life.
