Name one positive thing Bush administration has done since 2000,
I for one cannot think of anything at all. The scales of justice appear to have everything on the negative side and nothing on the positive.
Um.....

1. Comedians are doing well?

2. His legacy is a completely negative one.
There is not one single positive thing he has done in the past 8 years. And that is why he'll go down in history as the worst President this country has ever had.

8. Anything positive junior has done in the past eight years would be purely accidental and

be the unintended consequence of something negative he has done. Holistically a criminal operation from the start: solely rape, pillage, and plunder, rape of a nation and its constitution and institutions, pillage of the treasury and "lock box," and plunder of another sovereign nation for its oil solely for the benefit of four major oil companies imo. Refutations earnestly solicited for if I'm wrong on this one, I'll shut up forevermore. :D

27. He promised to control CO2 emissions, and then humiliated Whitman when she repeated his promise...
... followed immediately by his public announcement that he'd do no such thing.

Whitman found out what Molly Ivins had been warning for quite some time: pay no attention to what Bush says, just watch what he does.

Not that they couldn't Diebold this next election, but they hitched their wagon to the most unqualified person to ever sit in the WH, certainly in modern times. Now except for the core supporters it's bush who?

9. OK, you won't like this, but he sat the
steel companies down and told them he would enforce the anti-dumping laws if they would consolidate the industry and weed out the weak companies. Today the steel industry is doing extremely well. The Clinton/Gore Administration did nothing they let the foreign producers dump steel in this country to help prop up their economies. Other than that can't name anything else.

The Republican label with be ballot box poison for another two decades! Maybe, the Democrats will be able to make another "New Deal" with Americans so that "sink or swim" will be replaced by the "rising tide"?

14. a pension law that the HRC pushed for
"n August 2006, President Bush signed into law the Pension Protection Act, which includes two provisions that the Human Rights Campaign worked diligently to secure. The act includes provisions allowing non-spouse beneficiaries to roll over retirement benefits and adds non-spouse beneficiaries to the retirement plan hardship distribution rules. The two provisions extend important financial protections to gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender Americans who name non-spouses as their retirement plan beneficiaries."

28. the op i liked best was in NOLA in front of the Colosseum passing out water to black people, he gave
5 or 6 people water, standing in front of a wall of water bottles... then he left, and the water was taken away also.. it was not given to the black people "because they would riot" "BECAUSE THEY WOULD RIOT"

HOW MANY F'n TIMES DID YOU HEAR THAT THEY COULDN'T GIVE BLACK PEOPLE AID WHILE THEY WERE DYING...BECAUSE THEY WOULD RIOT.!!! i heard it a lot. Bu$h's white lackeys were not only incompetent but RACIST. never forget what the BUTCHER OF NEW ORLEANS did just to turn that state Red in the next election.. turned it red with the BLOOD of the poor and the colored by killing them, letting them die on roof tops, suffocate in attics in the sun while they had a 4 day meeting was murder and refused to allow anyone to help, and stealing their property to give to casinos and Gentrify the area.

http://www.motherjones.com/commentary/columns/2005/10/gentrifying_disaster.html
Secretary of Housing Alfonso Jackson, meanwhile, seems to be working to fulfill his notorious prediction that New Orleans is "not going to be as black as it was for a long time, if ever again." Public-housing and Section 8 residents recently protested that "the agencies in charge of these housing complexes are using allegations of storm damage to these complexes as a pretext for expelling working-class African-Americans, in a very blatant attempt to co-opt our homes and sell them to developers to build high-priced housing."

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Timeline_of_Hurricane_Katrina

 i cant believe there was no outcry about that atrocity.. no consequences..

21. Malaria, HIV & TB initiative
Edited on Sat Jun-07-08 08:35 AM by Juche
He is the first president to really take the issue of health disparity in the developing world seriously.

The prescription drug benefit, although a flawed piece of corporate welfare because it doens't allow negotiations, does have a $3600/yr cap on out of pocket spending (afterwards 95% is covered by medicare) which is good for the elderly who were spending $10,000+ a year on medications.

Aside from that, he has managed to f*ck our country up so badly that nobody wants the GOP to win anything anytime soon again and political apathy is likely at record lows. He is the best thing to happen to the democrats since the great depression. not that I support either the depression or Bush, but both made life so miserable that the public let the dems take over to fix it. Unless this election is stolen.
