Bible theme park to open in the year 2012, where?
Germany:wtf:

"The centrepiece will be what the organisers call an "original size" Noah's Ark which is 150 metres (490 feet) long and surrounded by water.

Other attractions will include two roller coasters -- one giving an idea of the Great Flood and another on the theme of heaven and hell -- a miniature version of Biblical-era Israel and a Roman amphitheatre."

I don't think I would get on a ride that was supposed to give an idea of the great flood....

Bible Park USA is a one-of-a-kind themed story park that brings the Bible to life through well-loved, familiar stories and ancient historical experiences.

4. this part here just made me laugh--
" and a mock-up of Jerusalem at the time of Jesus -- also the location for the main shopping mall."

"We would like to transmit the story and the message of the Bible in an active and exciting way, so that many people in our society may have the opportunity to experience up close the most wonderful and fantastic love story of all, the love story of our Creator and Jesus Christ"

Ok what better way to get the transmittal other than shopping! Nothing says Jesus H. Christ more than a retail excursion.

10. Will an actor be hired to periodically throw the money changers out of the mall?
You know, sort of like how those actors stage the shootout at the OK Corral, a couple of times a day, down in Tombstone.

15. I was thinking of doing an opposite of Disney.
Focusing on the storybook and historical villians. Like my anti-EPCOT would feature Caligula's Rome, Nazi Germany, Vlad the Impaler's Romania and so on and so forth. Like an entire Horror theme park or resort. Pirateland, Mafialand, Cripville, authentic Deadwood, Heavy Metal Land and Post Nuclear War Land. There is so much dark side stuff that people would pay a bundle to get into. Anyone can do bubblegum and rainbows, I'd like to do the opposite.

Stop by the Burning Bush Med Tent for relief.

Other Attractions include:

Savior Tunnel: the Immaculate Conception story is retold in this exicting boat ride.

Dino-walk: Ride dinosaurs just like our ancestors!

----------------------

Seriously though wasn't this already done with Heritage U.S.A.?

27. I'd love to visit this place
Maybe it's because my personal view of the Bible is that most of its stories are fantasy and fairy tales, but a roller coaster ride through heaven and hell would be fun.

It seems like there was a video game that was coming out soon where you play as a "believer" and fight the non-believers. Since I don't subscribe to the futurist interpretation of the book of Revelation, pretending to be an evangelical Christian and waging a virtual war against "the damned" wouldn't seem any different than playing Dungeons and Dragons or Grand Theft Auto.

28. they need to think bigger
there's so much more drama in the Bible (O & NT) why settle for tawdry old rollercoasters...yawn

I want rides that simulate the experience of preparing to kill your own child, being a citizen of Soddom and having fire rain down upon me, being sold into slavery, being offered to foreign soldiers

A real Bible World would beat any Horror Theme Park you could conceive

It's gonna be air conditioned, right? Because if it is, it might be kinda fun. As long as it's not one of those log ride things that splashes down into the Lake of Fire or something like that!
