Put your Obama sticker on your FRONT bumper
On the passenger's side. Then look for opportunities to:

1. stop and let pedestrians safely cross the street
2. stop and let people exiting from parking lots into the traffic lane
3. slow down, and wave drivers who are trying to change lanes to merge in front of you
4. stop and let bicyclists navigate safely

Do this with a smile, a wave, a friendly gesture, and make eye contact. Many of these people who benefit from your consideration will note your bumper sticker.

Spread the message that it is a new day in America. It no longer is about me getting there first and cutting you off. It is about all of us working together, respecting each other, helping each other, the notion that we can move forward only if all of us are moving forward. In other words, the Democratic Party message. No longer is it all about me and fuck you, the Republican Party message, but it is about us.

On the other hand, if you drive like an selfish arrogant asshole, please put a McCain sticker on your bumper.

would disappear as soon as you would go anyplace outside your own driveway.

12. I just got a cool round magnetic
bumper sticker (guess it's not a sticker, but not sure what to call it), I take it off when I park at the mall, or other public lot. . leave it on in my office parking lot (corporate office w/lots of cameras).

Even the stick on ones get scratched. Democrats here mostly like Obama but this was bush country and may still be.

15. If we do this
the Obama campaign needs to make one that reads backward, like the "emergency" sign on the front of ambulances. I'd buy some if they made 'em.

21. changed my mind, but posting an example, anyway...
(I've evolved to "change is coming" may be perceived as too threatening or arrogant, but here's some rough examples...)

23. Wear your Obama T Shirt everyday

Be a walking billboard.

It works so well for me.

You are right` I smile at everyone that I make eye contact with, I help people when they need someone to assist.

When they compliment me on my shirt I say thank you!

I have 3 shirts and I trade off every day.

I also have buttons/badges that I attach to my purse. I get lots of smiles and head nods and thumbs up.

Sometimes I am so busy shopping that I don't realize why I'm getting a thumbs up. :)

Fired Up! Ready to Go!

25. Found something on my windshield today...
I've had a "Worst. President. Ever." bumper sticker on my car for about five years. It's been there so long, I basically forgot about it - until today, that is.

I went in to the grocery store this morning for a quick errand. When I came back, I was surprised to find this note on my windshield:

"WAIT TILL THE N***** GETS IN YOU LIBERAL A******"

(For the curious, I've posted a scan of this fine document on Flickr at http://www.flickr.com/photos/27482687@N06 ).

This little episode starkly reminded me why I'm supporting Senator Obama. Those who may be voting against him should probably stop and reflect a moment on what they might be voting for.

Just my two cents.
