Poll question: If you could pick the new symbol.
Edited on Fri Jun-06-08 09:15 PM by ccharles000
I like the donkey but if you could pick the new animal what would it be. I personally like the swan it is beautiful, it protects its young, makes wonderful sounds, intelligent.

18. Aaaaah, thank you. I voted turtle.
I'm not sure why, but when I saw it was leading I had to admit turtles are cute. Swans would mean we'd have to adopt that dreadful 'I believe I can fly-y-y-y-y-y-y-y-y-y-y-y-y' song and although Pandas are my favorite, the Chinese got there first and I don't want to be accused of selling out our democracy by a bunch of xenophobic protectionists.

33. I'm with you on the penguins...
they are beautiful creatures who live their lives under very adverse conditions, and Dems are going to be working in very bad conditions when they get back the white house and fix the mess shrub has gotten us into!

16. A wolf.
They are highly social, intelligent, aggressive only when necessary, and the one who is best at initiating play becomes the leader.
