Fascinating opening discussion on global economy (mostly by globalists, I think, but top experts). Couldn't stop watching even though it's 8 pm and my family is hungry. A lot of cautious optimism....a lot of emphasis on the importance of globalization...some fear of protectionism (and uncertainty about the new dem congress in that regard)....some fear about a hard landing in the US...some discussion of US's declining importance in the world

..but the numbers being tossed around by China and India are really something
