Gore lauds Obama but dismisses role in administration
snip:
The former Tennessee senator called Democratic Sen. Barack Obama of Illinois on Tuesday to congratulate him on his historic victory in becoming the first African-American presidential candidate for a major party but has not decided when he will announce an endorsement, his spokeswoman said Wednesday.

And, spokeswoman Kalee Kreider said that Gore would not serve in a possible Obama administration.

"Vice President Gore has long since ruled out any possibility of serving in any administration," Kreider wrote in e-mail responses to written questions.
