(Joe Lieberman, but I bet you already knew that.)

Not the national organization--we, the Democrats, I mean. Just here in the blogosphere, even if it means nothing, I'd sure feel a whole hell of a lot better.

I know it has no official effect, but it sure as hell would make me feel a lot better.

Referencing this post. The slime is boasting of "caucus(ing) with the Democrats" to raise money for McCain!:

1. Wait until January
When we have a bigger majority in the Senate, that dumbass loses all his power. In the meantime, we can start planning his going away party.

3. He's not a democrat.
Something he'll regret when President Obama speaks at fundraisers for the real democratic candidate who runs against him next time.

4. Right after November's election.
Then toss his butt out on the street. Give him the bathroom as an office. Cut his staff support to 0.

Revenge is a dish best served cold.

13. Actually, I think he is blackmailing us. He
says he will caucus with the Democrats while aligning himself with just about all the Republicans.

11. It's Not "Our" Party...It's "A" Party
One that Liebermann claims to belong to but is not an official member. There are many who feel the Democratic party is some kind of social studies club...it isn't. While the party works to be more inclusive and reaches out to many social groups, it's not a transparent organization but still very much a private club. In many of our minds, the first step in that change occured on Wednesday when the DLC lost its grip on power in that club, but it's still a club and always will be.

Just like in any group it's up to the members to determine who can be a member in good standing or not...and if the party remains inclusive or new rules are set down that define who should be a member. Yes, Liebermann is a pain in the ass and IMHO is no Democrat. The moment he endorsed Gramps he totally crossed the aisle and should be booted from the caucus...you don't need a spy in the clubhouse. Then, once Gramps is removed, then his chairmanships must go as well...backbenching the bastard would be very satisfying.

But Liebermann isn't the only "Quisling"...some would say Blue Dogs fit that definition as well...especially those who vote in favor of telcom immunity. How do you suggest we deal with those people? Start closing doors and burning bridges?

12. I think that's one mission that's already been accomplished
Furthermore, if any one wants to put a date as to exactly when it was accomplished, one could do worse than the day of the Connecticut primary in 2006, when the rank and file of the Democratic Party rejected Lieberman's politics and Bush's war.

14. Funny that I had no question who you were talking about just by reading the subject
If we win enough seats in the Senate, we can tell him to take his toys and go home.
