The only way "Abstinence Only" is ever going to work

Someone is going to have to develop an "Abstinence Shot." Said injection will completely remove from its recipient the desire to have sex either for a set time period--a year, two years, five, whatever--or until a "Libido Shot" that reverses the Abstinence Shot's effects is given.

The Abstinence Only crowd has a big problem: NOT having sex goes completely against our design. We are made to screw our brains out on a regular and recurring basis, not only because it's the only way to perpetuate our species but because sex is a very pleasant thing.

I don't know how an Abstinence Shot would work, but if they don't figure it out soon they should start teaching kids about rubbers too.

I'm almost 25. I've never had sex. I find the concept revolting, because I find other people's body fluids revolting, and always have. I was the sort of child who tried to avoid goodnight kisses because it grossed me out. Learning that saliva is actually part of the digestive process just cemented it.

There's your abstinence shot.
