Note to the media: A "secret" meeting is one you don't know about

For example, the "secret" meetings that Dick Cheney held early on in 2001 with energy corporations kings. You don't know who was in that meeting, do you? See, that's a "secret" meeting.

When Clinton and Obama met last night without inviting you and your hyperventilating overwrought prose, that's a "private" meeting. Yes, it happened after the sun went down, so I suppose it could fairly be said to have been held "under cover of darkness," but considering the schedules of the two persons involved, it's not surprising they had to meet when they could.
