Tucker Carlson leaks McCain campaign theme
On After Hours on MSNBC, Tucker Carlson was criticizing Barack Obama's speech as too optimistic/as promising too much that he can't deliver. Rachel Maddow and the other guests were laughing at Tucker and saying what was he supposed to do, set low expectations? Tell people change is not good? And Tucker responded by essentially saying something to the effect of "Yes, as adults know, change is not always good; things could get much worse."

McCain's campaign theme? "Change is not always good. Things could get much worse." Yikes.

8. Tucker doesn't have a show, because...
...he doesn't know who he is.

He pretends to be a Libertarian, but takes cues from the GOP men who pay him.

He can't even decide what he should look like.

He's confused and has no one around him to tell him that.

6. That's not the theme; that's a threat.
The theme is the same old crap the GOP trots out every freakin' election: FUD.

Fear, uncertainty and doubt.

The terrorists are coming!

Who is Hussein Obama?

No one knows what he will do?

Oh noes!

Get off McCain's lawn! Just do it quietly; he's sleeping!

7. After watching McCain's speech, that might be it.

Change has to happen, but it has to be the change that I bring, not the kind he does. (paraphrased version of McCain's baloney from earlier this evening.)
