1. Wow, it looks fantastic.
Better when I saw it in 1971 (the re-release).

5. UHD
Universal High Definition, their HD broadcast channel. They show Universal movies and TV shows uncut, but not commercial free. I really miss HD NET and HD NET Movies from when we had Dish Network. Cox cable from Wichita does offer a lot of HD channels though, and just added SCI-FI (yay, Battlestar in HD!), USA and Bravo last week.

10. *ahem*
I'm a he.

My screen name, Bozita, is my way of remembering my best friend, a Doberman/Shepherd mix.

Smartest dog I've ever met. Speed of a Doberman, strength of a German Shepherd. Playful beyond belief with a huge vocabulary to boot. Frisbee was her specialty. I have yet to see better on Animal Planet.

There's no way to know sex/gender if you put undeclared in your profile! :)

9. "Uncut" I saw "The Fisher King" the other night on UHD.
Robin Williams' penis in all its glory.

I saw "Lifeforce" the next night which had a naked alien vampire (beautiful French actress) in many, many scenes and that made up for William' full frontal.

3. only if you drop acid first....

I bought it on HD-DVD right after Christmas. Looks damn nice, but in the opening "Dawn of Man" sequence the picture is SO sharp you can see the wrinkles in the painted background.

Overall though, I love the production design of the film, all the space-tech. The USS Discovery remains one of sci-fi's best spaceship designs of all time IMHO.

11. It looks amazing.
I caught it last time they showed it, and it was absolutely stunning on my ginormous HD set. Well, except that the prehumans looked really just comically bad.
