Goooooo!!!!
Has anyone else noticed drivers driving slow around your town? I noticed this somewhat on the interstate this past weekend, but figured it was because they had a fuzz buster, but today there were several people on the local roads and highways that were creeping down the road.

I guess this is because they are trying to save gas, but today I got stuck behind a Nissan 300Z sports car that was creeping down the road. I was in a hurry (car chase, work) and this guy was doing 35 down a 45-50 mph local road in the left hand lane. If you wanted to save gas, dont buy a 6 or 8 cylinder SPORTS CAR. I drive a Corolla and get 35-38 mpgs. There have also been a lot of trucks and SUV's slowing way down on local roads. You bought the gas guzzler, deal with it or park it.

Now I hear on the radio that some municipalities and states are contemplating dropping the speed limit down to 55 on the highways. To quote Sammy Hagar, "I cant drive 55!"

2. Traffic impeders.
I've noticed it a lot lately. My biggest issue is on the interstate. If you want to drive slowly, fine, just don't do it in the left lane.

6. I noticed that too. I am also bundling chores. Instead of three trips, I
combined the bank, booze and haircut. Not much traffic, and the mall I passed had little business.

...joining the freeways at 35-40 mph. It's no joke when you're stuck behind them and have to somehow contend with both their idiocy and the fact that the rest of humanity is bearing down on you at a closing speed of up to 40 mph. It's even less funny when you're trapped in the inside lane and one of these lackwits wanders into your path from the onramp, smugly satisfied that they're saving $.03 on this trip.

Just when I think drivers can't get any stupider, something comes along to inspire a completely new level of braindeath.

7. Here's a thought as you are waiting in the drive-thru
It is cheaper to turn off your car if you are going to idle more than 10 seconds. The myth is that it costs more to restart, but nooooo . . . .

9. This is America in some ways, still. That gives this person
the RIGHT to drive the speed that he/she wants, within the law. Dont like it, too bad. I think its WONDERFUL that ppl are slowing down.
