1. I'd be very willing to suspect these numbers...
In 2/3rds of the columns, it shows that Democrats have recieved more lobbying than the Republicans.

Even this is glaring: Defense $1,696,628 $902,931 $792,997

Defense only spent 1.6 million; and gave MORE to Democrats?

2. They already have the repubs in their pockets. Now they have to work harder
on the dems.

7. I'd say they could possibly be correct
GOP has seen its contributions drop like a rock across the board, and with them out of power in Congress... money flows to those who have the power to appropriate, who for the forseeable future will be Democrats.

3. It shouldn't be terribly surprising...
the Democrats are in the majority, thus have the power.

5. I don't know if they are right or not,
but I am leary of any numbers without a link to where they originated. Just saying.

8. Why not?
The money has shifted to the Democrats with the retaking of the Congress and in anticipation of a White House switch.

Most businesses have been screwed by Bush and the war.

Both parties are beasts of the lobbies, is this news?

Until we have public campaign finance, it will not be otherwise.
