I just told my dog to quit his yapping
He was barking at someone next door weed whacking.

There is a 6' wood fence between us and them, and he could not even see them.

And then I thought, how different am I than him? Barking at our folks in power here each day while they put up a fence between us and the only ones they want to come over are the hired help and their rich friends?

He can go on barking. Someday, he will get through that fence. :)

The other night they were both barking like crazy. Again they could not see, but it turns out there was a guy running from the cops nearby.

They don't have to be on the other side of the fence to know when something is amiss, they can tell it by the smell in the air and their great hearing.

We can as well. And someday we will break down that fence, or dig a hole under it.

Someday, things will be different - and all the barking I am hearing these days shows me that there is something wrong.

6. I've had doxies all my life. They are the best watch dogs on the planet.
My current doxie baby, Rusty, will alert us anything anything moves outside. Good boy.

Your doxies are beautiful!
