Ann Coulter handled Ann Coulter Style
Read this editorial about Ann Coulter's comments yesterday. It can't be reprinted here and is not for the feint of heart or politically correct but it is how, I think, she should be rebutted.

http://conservativefighter.wordpress.com/

I have gotten in trouble here for responding to Ann Coulter in kind so don't view the editorial if you are easily offended or think it is better to turn the other cheek.

1. Ordinarily I wouldn't K&R a link
But in this case it makes sense. It's not for the politically correct, but it you have a taste for undiluted vitriol...

2. The author was right about one thing
Ugly's coming to the surface and her looks are going fast.

When her looks are gone, she'll be gone, too. The right has a terrible time forgiving women for having too many birthdays.

3. Coulter Cash
I got this email today:

Dear John,

Did you hear about Anne Coulter's speech this afternoon attacking John? A friend just forwarded me the video and it's one of the worst moments in American politics I've seen.

I can't bring myself to even repeat her comments. Her shameless display of bigotry is so outrageous you actually have to see for yourself to believe it.

This is just a taste of the filth that the right-wing machine is gearing up to throw at us. And now that it's begun, we have a choice: Do we sit back, or do we fight back?

I say we fight. Help us raise $100,000 in "Coulter Cash" this week to show every would-be Republican mouthpiece that their bigoted attacks will not intimidate this campaign. I just threw in 100 bucks. Will you join me? Just click here.

Coulter's attack was no accident. It happened on national television at one of the year's biggest conservative conferences. Dick Cheney and most of the Republican candidates were in the audience. She was even introduced by Mitt Romney.

John was singled out for a personal attack because the Republican establishment knows he poses the greatest threat to their power. Since they have nothing real to use against him, Coulter's resorting to the classic right-wing strategy of riling up hate to smear a progressive champion. And the Republican attack dogs will keep playing this despicable trick as long as they think it works.

But this time, you and I can change the game.

If we can raise $100,000 in "Coulter Cash" this week, we can show that bigotry will only backfire on those who use it. John is not the first progressive leader to face this kind of slime, but together, we can make sure he is one of the last.

Tonight, I've put in 100 bucks of "Coulter Cash" to get us started. Can you match me, or chip in whatever you can afford? Just click here:

I am not able to give in that amount since I am unemployed and finances are kind of precarious right now, but will be sending $5. Please help if you can and are so inclined.

4. The double standard never ceases to amaze me. Coulter is publicly embraced
Edited on Sat Mar-03-07 11:05 AM by Marr
by the right. By the very faction of the right that currently holds power, in fact. They go to the same speaking engagements, they do interviews with the same right-wing hosts, etc., etc. But I've yet to see anyone in the media ask a right-wing politician to disavow her comments.

If Ann Coulter were a left-winger... well, she'd be completely unknown. She wouldn't be given any air time anywhere. And her scribblings never would've left her basement.

And the way they're always comparing her to Michael Moore, as though Moore is doing the same thing. They never could find any lies in Farenheit 9-11, though they certainly claimed to have done so. And they got all kinds of press announcing that claim, too- even though it was based on nothing. Coulter, on the other hand, is a fountain of lies. She just never stops lying, and it's never even mentioned.

6. Another example:
http://americablog.blogspot.com/2007/03/associated-press-reuters-awol-on.html

One of our commenters put it best:

Edwards/Kerry state the truth - that Mary Cheney is a lesbian - and all hell breaks loose.

Coulter calls Edwards a faggot.

(crickets)

Pathetic.

11. That thought struck me as well. Cheney was OUTRAGED when Wolf Blitzer asked
a respectful question about Mary Cheney. Wolf didn't call her names or denigrate her sexual orientation. But the media gives Coulter a pass on using hate speech in her description of Edwards as a "faggot".

Does caring about the poor and the middle class make you a "faggot" in Coulter's eyes? I guess Jesus was a "faggot" then as well.

Keep talking Ann. Let everyone see what the Republican party is all about.

5. You don't see that too often
The Hitler personality is sadly common, but exceedingly rare in women.

10. table dancer ann, and her pussy o hate...
the perverse charm in those Ilse Koch types eh...

http://www.scrapbookpages.com/DachauScrapbook/DachauTrials/IlseKoch.html

snip> Even though Ilse Koch had been acquitted in Morgen's court, the former inmates at Buchenwald were convinced that she had ordered prisoners to be killed, so that their tattooed skin could be made into lamp shades. When the American liberators arrived, they were told about the gory accessories in Frau Koch's home. A display table was set up and a film, directed by Billy Wilder, was made to document the atrocities in the camp.
<snip

of course ann c aint that bad yet, but....
