(for finally addressing Nazi sympathizing)
I for one, did not think you had it in you, but there you went and DID IT..
It was a very brave action on your part, and to have done it IN Israel took a mighty dose of courage.
At first, I must admit, I thought you might have been trying to "trash-talk" a Democratic candidate or two back home, but upon further reflection, I am convinced that you were overcome with the enormity of the event you were attending, and finally chose to atone for the shameful behavior of your own family, and part YOUR family played in the Holocaust. It was a gutsy move, to be sure. You might have been afraid to broach that subject in Israel, of all places, but you were bold, and did it anyway.. Not many US presidents would be able to admit that their grandfather was a Nazi sympathizer, and was formally censured by his peers in the senate..or that their bank accounts were frozen by the US government, to prevent further aid to the nazis.Bravo!
Your staff has sworn to our media that you were NOT attacking the democratic candidates, so it must be that you decided to admit to the Bush family war crimes.
What's next? Will you confess to the 60 year involvement of the Bush-Bin Laden families? That must be an interesting story. we are all ears :)
The Bush family has a long history. maybe you will write a book after you retire. Bush family members seem to have an uncanny knack for being "where the action is".. Not many know that GHW Bush & Barbara dined with the parents of the would-be-assassin of Ronald Reagan..the night before it "happened".. What ARE the odds of that happening in the "real world"?
and then there is the mysterious memo penned by a young GHW Bush about something that was going to happen in Dallas..This was waaay back in 1963, but Ole GHWB has told us repeatedly that he does not recall where he was on the day Kennedy was assassinated. One would think that if he took the trouble to write the memo, and then the "something" happened, ... well you would think he might have remembered..
Anyway, thanks again for owning up to being the grandson of a Nazi sympathizer.. that WAS what you were talking about, wasn't it?.. Surely you were NOT playing politics at such a somber event.
