Why I donated

OK, I just kicked in a small amount.

Why? I'm a newbie, probably won't hang out much; I'm not knocking the high energy level here, in fact it's a good thing in the end, but it's not for me. I kicked in for two reasons:

1. To counteract one person having a I-refuse-to-donate hissie fit; and

2. To maybe get others who've been here a lot longer than I to decide it's time to kick in too, if only for reason 1.
