House Republicans may be heading off a cliff in November, but give them credit for perseverance. Even after the new slogan they floated -- "The Change You Deserve" -- was discovered to be trademarked ad copy for the antidepressant drug Effexor, GOP leaders decided to go with the rollout anyway.

Please, DON'T give us the leadership we "deserve," the change we "deserve," or the society we "deserve."

It's kinda scary to imagine what they think we "deserve".

In their minds:
The people that were trapped on their houses, in need of water, food, shelter, etc. during Katrina deserved it b/c they were warned and they didn't evacuate.

Iraq deserved it b/c they had WMDs and ties with Bin Laden

Poor people deserve it b/c they're lazy

Single Moms deserve to struggle b/c they're the ones that got knocked up.

Victims of predatory lending and sub-prime loans deserve it b/c they're aren't good with their money and didn't read all the fine print.
