I just posted a thread about Congressman Vito and his unzipped zipper and his open bottle. I'm thinking this Fall, he's toast because of this.

I live in a very red district of a very red state (Mississippi) and my congressman is a (D). Gene Taylor, Coast Guard Veteran, wiry little ass kicker who has made small work of any and all (r) opponents. He's a "centrist" if there every was one but the state gop try to paint him as a flaming liberal. Next door in Louisiana, the good folks over in the first district just elected steve scalise to replace bobby jindal who replaced david vitter who replaced bob livingston. Guess what?? scalise has christian conservative family values...

4. Chris Shays of CT

AFAIK he's the last of the pukes in this state not counting that mouthbreathing POS Liebermann. Nancy Johnson and Rob Simmons lost out last year to dems that seem to be pretty popular now I'm hoping that it's Shay's turn to spend more time with his family.

5. Don Manzullo

He's a bush rubberstamp if ever there was one. He has a big fat zero from the League of Conservation Voters. He vetoed minimum wage and SCHIP. He has only sponsored about four pieces of legislation since he has been in office. He was first elected in 1992.

The trouble is, I don't know if he is going to lose. We have a good candidate running against him, but the guy seems to have lost steam lately. We have enough blue out here to offset the red, but I honestly don't know. I can only hope that this is such a strong year for Democrats that his opponent can make it over the finish line first.

She goes with the safe vote, whether it is supportive of Democratic principles or not. Nowhere to be seen on anything standing up against the bushistas and their agenda.
