I can't say ill will of her, though all I know is: if I were wealthy (multi-millionaire), they could take out 50% and it wouldn't bother me.

10. I'd say the wealthy have been well taken care of for the last 8 years..
Allegedly this effect will "trickle down" on to the rest of us.

I hope they're right, because Dubya's been trickling on us for quite some time now.

They claim this is beneficial somehow... You know, being trickled on.

I thought unchecked trickling caused erosion, but they corrected me and said it was fine.

The benefits should be kicking in any minute now.. Yep.

Just any second, I'm sure..

11. Unfortunately, we only seem to take care of the . . . er . . . "needs" of the wealthy.
I mean, gee, who gives a fuck about things like schools, universal health care, higher education, infrastructure repair, the ecology, etc? Only the loonah leftbag conspiracy tree-nuts want those stupid things.

12. "Organized money hates me--and I welcome their hatred." --FDR
That's the kind of Democratic Party leadership we need. Take no prisoners.

Brazile is a holdover from the McAulife/DLC era. She has been particularly protective of electronic voting run on 'TRADE SECRET,' PROPRIETARY programming code, owned and controlled by rightwing Bushite corporations, with virtually no audit/recount controls. I don't know how she survived into the Howard Dean era, nor who her mafia bosses...ahem, corporate sponsors are. Sorry, I find it VERY, VERY difficult to forgive any Democratic leader with so direct a hand in promoting the end of our democracy with 'TRADE SECRET' vote counting. Christopher Dodd is another one--directly responsible for getting that global corporate predator job done in time for the 2004 election. They've ALL covered it up (really, to a mind-boggling degree). But I've made a close study of this particular matter--due to its overriding importance--and these two are especially important operatives of the e-voting election theft industry.

So it doesn't surprise me that Brazile thinks that "we" should serve the rich as well as the poor. It is rather surprising to hear her say it, though. Dodd is smoother and talks a good leftist line, but is nevertheless a snake in the grass on this all-important issue. So is Brazile. I get the feeling she's more of a toady, though, while Dodd is major player.

14. Yes, wasn't she the one who determined there was no
...funny business in the 2004 election, all was well within the world of electronic voting, period, end of investigation?

And what did we learn just recently: no one at the FBI told OH gov Blackwell about any terrorist threat requiring a lock-down of the crucial Ohio precinct where they were counting votes, out of sight of everyone including the media for a few hours election night.

I didn't like Brazile before then and can't stomach her since. She's a total sell-out like the rest of the DLC. I trust what they say as much as I trust anything Bush** says.

15. Yes, she did the McAuliffe-DNC report on the 2004 election--a total whitewash.
I noticed her as a corporate toady then--and she hasn't done anything since to disabuse me of that notion.

She, like Shrum, is paid to lose elections by their real bosses. She's not a Democrat and should go.

21. sorry, but brazile thinks karl rove is just dreamy...
http://www.washingtonpost.com/ac2/wp-dyn?pagename=article&contentId=A2674-2003Mar9

Brazile, the former Gore campaign manager, knows about that. The two first started talking in January 2001, with a "good-natured taunt." Now, Brazile said, "I respect him, I admire him, and though we come from opposite ends of the political spectrum, I enjoy the conversation."

Brazile tells Rove how Bush policies are playing and checks in with him before her television appearances. "He bounces things off me, and I'll say, 'That's going to get you in a lot of trouble,' " she said.

In exchange, Rove has been kind to Brazile's friends and clients, such as Del. Eleanor Holmes Norton (D-D.C.) and District Mayor Anthony A. Williams (D). When she complained that one of her consulting clients was excluded from a White House event, "he sent me a three-page memo." Rove invited Brazile to the White House mess, "so we can get people wagging their tongues."

The two stopped their discussions three months before the midterm elections, then got back in touch to do an election postmortem.

"People think I'm crazy talking to Karl Rove," Brazile said, but "there's something about this guy." Still, Brazile draws the line at advising Rove about appealing to minorities, her specialty. "Hell, no," she said. "He'd have to pay for that advice."

19. She is speaking to the wealthy. To assauge their fears
that if the rest of the nation is treated like human beings with rights to things like life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness, it does not mean that they will be paraded around town with their heads on pikes.

The poor and the middle-class know this. The rich have to be reminded from time to time.
