Coulter calls Edwards a "faggot":
"I was going to have a few comments on the other Democratic presidential candidate John Edwards, but it turns out you have to go into rehab if you use the word ‘faggot,’ so I — so kind of an impasse, can’t really talk about Edwards."

So, is it still inappropriate for progressives to ask questions about her ambiguous gender identity?

14. Well, there's the obvious hypocrisy.
Coulter's favorite rhetorical tactic at the moment seems to be calling prominent Democrats "fags." As in, "Al Gore is a total fag." Now this. As an obviously transgendered person who hides behind a false veneer of conservative "normalcy," I think Coulter is basically daring the left to confront her on a more personal level. Maybe it's time to take her up on it.

15. I don't think Coulter's transgender status should render her immune
from the kinds of attacks she likes to dish out.

10. To just ignore her would make her uncomfortable.....
That is the only reason she is saying such obnoxious statements...She is a pure Borderline Personality. So, let her feel unfulfilled and frustrated....

Borderline personality disorder (BPD) is a serious mental illness characterized by pervasive instability in moods, interpersonal relationships, self-image, and behavior. This instability often disrupts family and work life, long-term planning, and the individuals sense of self-identity. Originally thought to be at the "borderline" of psychosis, people with BPD suffer from a disorder of emotion regulation. While less well known than schizophrenia or bipolar disorder (manic-depressive illness), BPD is more common, affecting 2 percent of adults, mostly young women.1 There is a high rate of self-injury without suicide intent, as well as a significant rate of suicide attempts and completed suicide in severe cases.2,3 Patients often need extensive mental health services, and account for 20 percent of psychiatric hospitalizations.4

11. Why do you think she does that?
Why does she call him a faggot? Why does she say, kill liberals and all the rest of the junk?

Because all that matters to her is attention and provocation by any means - no limits. This thread is a small part of what's feeding her. The less one talks and links to anything to do with her, or even mentions her name electronically for the google spider, the more one reduces her power to project and increases the threshold of whatever idiocy she'll have to do next to get attention.

18. She Does More Damage To Conservatism Than Any Liberal
The conservative movement use to have high-minded, intellectuals as their official spoke people. People like William F. Buckley, William Safire, Milton Friedman, and George Will. They debated issues on the facts. You could disagree with them, but you respected their intelligence. You knew that you had to have your facts in a row before you went up against them.

Now, all the right wing has are people like Limbaugh, Hannity, and Coulter, and all they know how to do is call people names. Coulter is not even worthy of Daily Show satire.
