10. It's an ideology thing.
If unregulated markets can produce severely destructive societal outcomes then unregulated markets can't be the way to go. But, they "know" that unregulated markets are the way to go and so they cannot accept climate change.

6. I know one....
I was with a group of women who went to see Al Gore yesterday at the OU campus. When we came away from there, the Republican women were talking about how we have to pass environmental laws now and not give people a choice in the matter. Me and my friends stood agape with our mouths hanging open.
