Imus finally figures out Lieberman
after pandering to his ass for a year...what a moran

from Imus blog:

Senator Joe Lieberman (ID) Connecticut was a guest this morning. After listening to the interview I felt like I should lie down in bed and smoke a cigarette. Because Senator Lieberman just had sex with me.

Imus: It would occur to me Senator Lieberman. Particularly if you were somebody who thought this war was such a wonderful idea as you did. And continue to support this idiotic exercise and you sit on some of these committees. That you would have a special responsibility to know what the hell is happening to these kids. It’s not enough to say you didn’t know or didn’t ask the right questions. I mean that’s why we elected you.

Lieberman: We all have responsibilities and I take it very personally because I have supported the war and I continue to believe we have to do everything we can to have it end successfully. I have a special responsibility and we should all be doing mea culpas. Battlefield medicine, I’ve been too battlefield hospitals when I’ve been over in Iraq, Walter Reed in the main building unbelievable. Unbelievable heroism by soldiers who have lost limbs and are just devoted to coming back as close to normalcy as possible as they can. But the other stuff, just crazy and unacceptable and I think you’re going to see a change now.

Do everything we can? Mea culpas? Unbelievable heroism? Just crazy unacceptable? Going to see change now?

Where have you been for the past 4 years Senator Lieberman? Why didn’t you know about this? I’ve had an interest in politics and government all my life. I don’t think I’ve ever heard a weaker more pandering response ever. I can’t do a lot of cussing on the front page of the blog. If after reading this you decide to comment. Feel free to use creative colorful language to describe Senator Lieberman. You can listen to the comments here.

6. I didn't know Imus had a blog... now I can ignore it as I do his TV broadcast!
I watch at 5 AM Fridays and today, I slept in a little later, and he was gone by 6 AM.

2. FLIP FLOP FLIP FLOP.....Imus was a HUGH!!11!! Lieberman supporter
Edited on Fri Mar-02-07 02:26 PM by cboy4
when Connecticut Democrats were rightfully kicking his ass out of office in exchange for Lamont.

As someone (Imus) who from my understanding has not supported the war.....he should have been all over Joe's ass from day 1.

edit///typo

3. If Holy Joe had looked up from his bush boot licking he might have noticed the
plight of the wounded vets at Walter Reed. Much too little and way late, Joe. Anyway if you are sincere it is time to shut your pie hole on the Imus show and get down to the WH and demand some answers from your best bud Dubya. Then we mignt listen to you. Until then, well what I said before about where you put pies.

5. I semi-regulary watch Imus. When Lieberman came on, I switched channels. Now I wish that I hadn't.
The I-man has been hysterical over this mess. To give Imus credit, he is ALWAYS on the side of children and their best welfare.

7. I might guess that he only cares about American children?
How 'bout Palestinian-Israeli and Afghani and Iraqi and all children in Africa? How about the ones in Central America who were massacred by those currently in the admin and the CIA State Dept.

9. I don't think he's concerned with the brown children
But he seems quite concerned with the ill white children. And he seems concerned with the welfare of american soldiers.

He's a lunatic and of course supported Lieberman in his last race and said awful things about Lieberman's opponent. I think Imus needs some lithium.

12. That is an unfair charge to level at him
you may disagree with him but he has said from the beginning that this war is a mistake, and he has NEVER said that children that are not white don't matter.

10. Imus is still just a disc jockey
He stays the first thing that pops into his head with the hope that it will shock his audience into thinking they are being entertained.
