So, why is firedoglake offline?
Isn't there a place to go find out what's up?
I may have to actually do work today.

2. Their server maybe getting battered over the Libby case,
it's a sign that the MSM are not covering the story, they are almost the only outlet for this news story.

Try again later when the traffic is less intense.

7. Thanks. Weird.
I felt like a heroin addict that just lost her contact.
Or what I felt that would feel like.

9. Because the jurors are a bunch of meticulous doodyheads
Edited on Fri Mar-02-07 01:23 PM by Marnieworld
They're driving many of us insane with anticipation and the only relief is hitting the refresh button on firedoglake.com

Or is it just me?

12. Jane and company seem to think they are all becoming Plamologists.
Fine with me. Let them take their time and return at least one guilty on a count. And hopefully guilty on all, so Fitz can continue working his magic up the organization chart to The Dark One. Scooter to Shooter.

13. I'd put money on guilty for all counts still
Edited on Fri Mar-02-07 01:56 PM by Marnieworld
I was discouraged over the Valentine's Day shirt thingy and really discouraged when the one dissenter from the nonsense was eliminated. Yet when you look at the jurors professions it's pretty obvious that we are talking about smart people here. Detail oriented, handling complex layered facts kinda folks. This case needs smart people to be able to decipher it and get the bigger picture. I am encouraged by how seriously they are taking it and are clearly attempting to get a handle on all of the facts. You, if you were an innocent defendant, would want a jury to give it their all, that is their duty and they are clearly living up to it. So knowing that they are pretty smart and that they are doing their jobs how can a group of intelligent people armed with the facts and the time to decipher them come back with anything but guilty? SO that's why I'm anxious the most.

I can't help but whine and stamp my feet because I am so tired of waiting. A guilty verdict is just the beginning not an end. It will be like a loose thread on a tapestry that we can pull to unravel the greater crimes. I am so ready for that now but I will try and brace myself for another week so I can hopefully be pleasantly surprised.

Besides the "Plame Fever" they also bring up the time needed to adjust to the reality of how corrupt the administration is. It is a sobering, painful reality if it is a new concept, one many still resist because they just can't deal with it. It's sad when you understand who holds these offices and what they have done. If it's brand new and rapid-fire I can understand how that could be hard. My own realization happened over time but it was still painful. So for that I will try and think of them and have patience and hope that they do the right thing in the end.

14. I am confident that Scooter will be found guilty on at least some of the counts.
Then he can choose to work with Fitz to get at Shooter or wait to be pardoned. Even if Scooter is pardoned, and that means he acknowledges his guilt, he will be a defendent with Shooter and TurdBlossom in the Wilson civil suit. More crap floating to the top for the historical record. And if he is pardoned, he can't take the Fifth. Hold onto your seats, it's going to stay a wild ride.
