2. Finally heard a Con strategist say what I worry about w/Rudy

Yesterday, I unfortunately caught a few minutes w/Tucker. They were discussing (what else!) the Presidential candidates and Tucker wanted to know why Rudy was pulling so far ahead given the inconsistency of his social positions to the "Conservatives". The Republican Strategist put it exactly as "The Suburbs".

IMO, the Suburbs is exactly where Guiliani's going to be pulling his some strong support from. He's going to be catering to the soccer moms that he'll keep them safe and isn't concerned about the gays living across the street. Oh, and he'll lower their taxes, increase their tax credits for children, and sign a new and improved anti-assault weapons ban making sure gangs don't get into their neighborhood.

It's so disappointing. The suburbs like to vote Republican and they have both the $$$ and numbers to really make him their Great White Hope candidate to once again 'come back to the Republican Party. JMHO.
