There has to be something she has done that has worked
either as national security adviser (w/ that whole 9/11 thing
and early warnings) or as Sec. of State although I don't think
Lebanon or Iraq have worked out too well.

I'm counting on you D.U. there must be something.

Edit it looks like her "Bring 'em on" to Sadr didn't help

Who could have seen that problem coming? :grr:

That was 2003.

You're right, though, about the shoe thing. Plus, she probably knows gym equipment.

13. She did inspire a word in Hebrew: LeCondel:
LECONDEL....Ilan Goldenberg explains today that the prefix "le" in Hebrew means "to." So the word lecondel translates as to Condoleezza. And what do Israelis mean by this?

The long buildup to Annapolis, together with Ms. Rice's many trips to the region, have given birth to a new verb in Israeli government circles: "lecondel," meaning, to come and go for meetings that produce few results.

This is actually a very useful new verb. I recommend that we adopt it in the U.S. as well.

Soviet Union relations must be of some use.

This is honestly all I could find.

Pakistan
Condoleezza Rice played an important role in bringing democracy to Pakistan. When President Pervez Musharaff imposed a state of emergency in November 2007, it was rumored that she called General Musharaff and asked him not to impose a state of emergency. For the time being the General listened to the advice. However, on November 3, 2007 General Musharaff imposed a state of emergency despite opposition from Condoleezza Rice.<153>

In the aftermath of the defeat of Musharaff's own PML-Q in the election of February 18, 2008, Condoleezza Rice stated the US position saying that "How they arrange their coalition is really a Pakistani affair. The President of Pakistan is Pervez Musharraf... And so, of course, we will deal with him. We will continue to pursue the American interests, which are for a stable and democratic Pakistan."<154>

She also worked to help stop the Kenyan violence after the vote fraud of the 2007 election by encouraging the president to have a power sharing system according to wikipedia.
