Last night I watched Obama's pastor kick Hannity's ass

It was a thing of beauty.

Obviously the good reverend knew what he was up against, and was able to out-hannity Hannity.

Hannity kept trying to browbeat him and his church, saying they were preaching "separatism" because the church preaches committment to the black family, black community, etc (http://www.tucc.org/about.htm)

Hannity kept saying why must the church distinguish between "black" and "white" christianity.

Rev. Wright found his question amusing, and brought up the fact that white christianity was all about destruction of the black family as it promoted slavery and the belittlement of the black man as a person.

The reverend wouldn't let Hannity talk over him, he gave as good as he got. Hannity fell back on his "you're angry and bitter" escape hatch, and the reverend shot back that Hannity was ignorant, and recommended books for him to read in order to "enlighten" himself.

I had the misfortune of catching H&C's show a couple times, and it was obvious right away that their main goal is to put on black people who they can easily mock and ridicule. It's even moreso disgusting because the so called liberal, Colmes, plays right along too.

29. As A UCC Memeber Myself and White

I can tell you all the UCC and Congregationalists have a long history of working for progressive and social justice. Every single member of my church works in some way or the other for these things. As a white person I would be perfectly comfortable and welcomed in Barach Obama's church, I know it because I have been a member for many years and attended UCC churches that were not only Black, but Samoan, Filipino, Taiwanese and Hawaiian. All of them are full of intelligent thoughtful people who believe in inclusiveness (including gays) and whose theology is intelligent and thoughtful based on inclusiveness, service to others and social justice. Reverend Wright is a respected pastor in my denomination. He has a wonderful mission and I am proud to be of his denomination. Sean Hannity is an ignorant idiot, and people like Reverend Wright know it.
