Swiss Soldiers Accidentally Invade Liechtenstein

What began as a routine training exercise almost ended in an embarrassing diplomatic incident after a company of Swiss soldiers got lost at night and marched into neighboring Liechtenstein.

According to Swiss daily Blick, the 170 infantry soldiers wandered just over a mile across an unmarked border into the tiny principality early Thursday before realizing their mistake and turning back.

The Swiss soldiers were obviously quite thirsty.

They had had several steins of beer.

Now Liechtenstein has the unquestioned right to invade Switzerland and destroy it utterly, and leave its citizens impoverished and bloodied. They have the right to clean out the Swiss bank accounts and steal all those nice watches and chocolates, too.

It wasn't an accidental incursion. It was an act of terrorism, at least if Liechtenstein decides to call it such.
