29% BUSH APPROVAL - NYT/CBS Poll
March 1, 2007, 6:40 pm
New Bush, Iraq Poll Numbers
By Marjorie Connelly

In the months since the Congressional elections, President Bush has lost substantial support among members of his own party, according to the latest New York Times/CBS News Poll.

Mr. Bush’s approval rating dropped 13 percentage points since last fall among Republicans, 65 percent of whom now say they approve of the way he is handling his job as president, compared with 78 percent last October.

Over all, Mr. Bush’s job approval remains at one of its lowest points, with 29 percent of all Americans saying they approve of the way he is doing his job, compared with 34 percent at the end of October. Sixty-one percent disapproved, compared with 58 percent in October, within the margin of sampling error.

Twenty-three percent of those polled approved of the way Mr. Bush is dealing with the situation in Iraq. Twenty-five percent approved of his handling of foreign policy.

11. FOX News plus Rush Limbaugh
If you listen to Rush all day and watch FOX all night you can maintain your delusion that * is doing his best for the country and deserves our support.

If you want to hear these types of people singing *'s praises personally, just tune in C-span's Washington Journal on any morning. They still call in and scold the rest of us for "not supporting the president" because he's doing "the best job he can" and explain how it's not *'s fault it's somebody else's fault.

18. Oh, I know. I used to work part time in an office
populated with freeper moron types. They listened to Rush in the morning and Hannity in the afternoon - while at work. Nonstop propaganda. One idiot even had a picture of chimp in his cubicle.

I remember one chilly morning one of the brainwashed came in and made a pronouncement that "there is no global warming. It's cold outside!" That is the mentality of a third of our fellow citizens. Scary.

6. If this were a fight, the referee would have to stop it
It's the end of the 9th round, and the President is bleeding profusely...but we're stuck with him for another 23 months. Our system does not serve us well at these times.

13. 70% Of Us No Longer Exist
Remember, this regime works under the 2% solution.

As long as boooshie's internals show he's still got the wingnuts and moonbats, that's his "mandate". They look at those numbers and see the 50% of the 27% who would cheer if fukstick ate a live baby on TV and this is all they care.

Now, I'd love to see if anyone yet has polled on the topic of impeachment...and if so, why not? I'd be willing to bet the number in favor of starting proceedings is over 50% and those favoring boooosh's expulsion is near the 50% figure as well. The corporate media couldn't rush Clinton impeachment numbers out fast enough...used by DeLay to push that fiasco on the American people...while they're loathe to hold this regime to any accountability.

15. Spot On! Looking at his approval among Repugs is all they care about
and it seems the Corporate Media has revealed itself as amongst the still high Repug approval.

The rest of us don't exist...We are a movement in our own minds according to the Media.

19. They Keep "Wishing" The Numbers...
You're spot on as well, Koko...

David Broder recently proclaimed booooshie's "on the rebound" and the corporate media still paints this regime as being "popular" and strong when we see how out of control its become...contorted to micromanage any and every story and avoid responsibility.

Those of us in the blogoshpere are now the corporate media's #1 enemy...they're hell-bent on showing us as opposed to holding this regime accountable. That's cause we don't have the drinkie-drinkie parties.

Cheers...
