Why, pray tell, am I hearing Pat Buchanan and Joe Scarborough on Air America?

This MSNBC simulcast dealy sucks. Last night I had to hear some nitwit from the Indefensible Independent Women's Forum spouting off about our candidates. I want my Rachel unadulterated on the radio, thank you very much AAR.

1. Rachel and Tom Hartmann are all they have left

they have driven off all the other talent they started off with and replaced them with hacks. It is the worst managed mess I've ever witnessed.

2. I broke all ties with AAR and bought a year's subscription to NovaM for

podcasts of both Randi Rhodes and Mike Malloy.

BTW, Malloy, in particular had a kick-ass program (04-24-2008)that will both enlighten and scare the crap out of any thoughtful Democrat. :scared:

5. I'm listening to it on Nova M right now. They still have AAR programs.

They have Thom, Rachel, and RFK Jr. I'm glad they kept those shows but I do not like this new Rachel format.

I haven't always liked Malloy but he has been on FIRE lately. Tonight's show about Limbaugh hit the nail right on the head. I hope we can finally put that fat fucker into long overdue retirement.

11. We still get Randi Rhodes and Mike Malloy in L.A.

But in the evening we get this horrible guy named Phil something. I cannot listen to him. We also get Rachel Maddow, but we don't get Ed Schultz. I really liked Ed Schultz. Thom Hartmann is my absolute favorite. Every station chooses its own talk show hosts.

3. I listened today thinking I would last longer than yesterday.

I lasted 5 minutes before I turned on the horrible oldies station. What drives me nuts is that "Race To The White House" is exactly the sort of media nonsense that Rachel rails against. Un-fucking-listenable.

Just let Bender take over if Rachel is on MSNBC. He's funny and is a great analyst. I really fear that if Rachel keeps going on the TV machine she's eventually not going to be on AA at all, which, in a year that's seen Kent Jones laid off, would be tragic.

When Randi left AAR and he voiced his opinion on it, I thought he might be next. Unfortuantely, Nova M doesn't have an opening for Sam right now :(

9. when randi hit the airwaves on nova someone called and talked to her

about sam filling in. randi sounded pissed off at sam, said something to the effect of "i thought we were friends" because sam said aar might have had a point about suspending her.

so, my guess is randi doesn't want anything to do with him. he spent the majority of his time (when him and callers talked about randi) defending her. she hears this one fucking remark he made and she's mad.

i love randi (though her novam shows seem more like a laugh-riot fest than her regular shows) and i'm now a novam subscriber. however--she needs to get over herself just a bit, and stop all the fucking around on her show--the other day they were laughing so hard (her and some guy and another girl on the show) that you couldn't understand a fucking thing they were saying, it was totally irrelevant and it sounded like some in joke.

note to randi: when you're on air you're listeners don't get your stupid in-jokes you have with the gang you work with.

Even in reruns he's good. His interviews are great.
