Roxanne’s said it before, but it’s worth apeing—if you think wingnuts are insufferable assholes when they’re winning, they are even more despicable when they’re losing. Look at what the cowardly babies did to the Edwards headquarters in Second Life. Yes, that does indeed appear to be shit-smearing going on, amongst other behaviors to demonstrate their strong stance against obscenity.



At this point, they’ve devolved into a mob of people who see anything good or interesting or worthy and want to take a giant piss all over it out of mean-spirited jealousy. Not that this childish behavior surprises me one bit anymore—being on the receiving end of the right wing noise machine will demonstrate pretty well that they have zero compunction about lying or engaging in other utterly immoral behavior. And at this point, it’s not even to win, really. I’d say they’re more motivated at this point by the irresistible urge to piss off liberals and be pains in the ass.

After all, if you look at this destruction, does it really make you want to vote against Edwards? Only if you’re the sort of maladapted fucktard that hopes you happen upon a gang rape one day so you can join in, finally free to have an erection because the only thing you can get off on is pointless abuse. For non-sociopathic individuals, this just makes you think poorly of the people who did this, not of the people who were targeted. The saddest part of all is the cowards who did this are such utter cowards, too scared to actually go vandalize buildings in the real world, where they know they’ll happen across policemen who don’t share their firm belief in the importance of spreading contempt for anything good or decent in this world.

There's a Limaugh-conservative at my place of employment that I used to argue with. He'd simply ignore any facts I presented to him and reiterate the GOP talking points I'd just disproven. He'd just smirk. Always smirking.

So finally, one day, I did the same thing. No explanations, no logic... I just asserted anything that would support my opinion. I made up facts, I made up people, laughed at his assertions, etc. Easy as pie. I ignored everything he said and just repeated bullshit.

He actually got annoyed. I told him that I'd decided not to waste time talking politics with him, because- dummy I am- I finally understood what he was doing. I told him he wasn't interested in other opinions, but only wanted to piss someone off. I told him it was surprisingly easy to just waste someone's time, as I'd done with him that day, and thanked him for showing me how.

These guys really aren't bery sharp. I think many actually believe that what Limbaugh does is "debate". They don't want to have a discussion, they just want to piss you off and insult someone.
