So what the hell IS it with this "non-binding resolution" crap?
I want BILLS, damn it. I want LAWS. I want legally binding RULES AND REGULATIONS. We simply do not need any more of this wishy-washy, quaking knees, trembling hands, half-assed mouthing of desire to change at some point in the relatively near future if it won't upset George too much. ESPECIALLY AFTER winning both houses with such resounding majorities.

I WANT THESE CHANGES TO BE REAL. Is that really so much to ask for, given the shit that's going down on a daily basis? IS IT???

Say it loud and say it proud. MANDATE. Look it up. Learn it. Live it. Love it.

DO it.

Why would a bill which is crafted in a way that it would receive a certain veto be any more effective than this bipartisan one?

The Senate Committee on the Judiciary will hold a hearing on "Exercising Congress’s Constitutional Power to End a War" on Tuesday, January 30, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. in the Dirksen Senate Office Building Room 226. The hearing will be chaired by Senator Feingold.
