I think Olbermann's being a little hard on Sherman. Not that I'm defending what he said about African-Americans in elected office wanting to inflict a little discrimination of their own, but it's still socially acceptable to denigrate atheists, ridicule them, spit on them, run them off the road...

honest messenger. He's not an atheist honestly trying to convey that message, he's a charlatan. I've met this man and heard him speak, he's a person that found an angle and uses it to put himself in the spotlight for his own benefit.

I know the term isn't in vogue anymore, but last I heard, nobody circulated a petition to change the name of the United Negro College Fund.

I guess you could counter by citing the NAACP, though...

5. It's Not About Atheism...

It's good old Rob Sherman. He just couldn't accept the appology but had to see if he could milk it for a little more face time.

The Chicago City Councilwoman made a stupid remark and appologized, that should have been the end of it. Rob enjoys the cameras a little too much.
