Two ads, Cadillac ad at MSNBC, and Toyota Ad at Yahoo Mail, have fast flashing white lights, probably at a tenth of a second. To get your attention no doubt.
.........................(I am sure there are hundreds more out there...)................................

Most annoying, and I was wondering..anyone else bothered by these..Seem to disrupt train of thought while trying to read the net..
..Google mail does have these typs of ads.

They are all over Yahoo. '

anyone else notice them or bothered by them...Comments please..thanks..

2. Certain styles of flashing should not be used because of Photosensitive Epilepsy.

I alerted the other day on a post here where someone's *HUGE*
animated GIF struck me as just the sort of thing to trigger
a seizure in our affected folks.

4. These kinds of things have indeed triggered seizures..please read
Approximately 7 or 8 years ago, perhaps more, there was an animated series on tv called Pokemann..
Shown first in Japan, one episode of this series had a number of flashing lights...I did not see it, but more than 4000 reports came to the stations there of seizures caused by this particular show. It was removed and the flashing section was also removed..

..I am wondering if this shit affects us.???/ HOw would we even know???

the assholes are trying to do is get our attention thru their ads, and they don't give a shit how they do it...

5. I don't see a movie ad...
Ads could be somehow placed for individuals...I don't know how they do it, but your ads could be different than mine...I don't know for sure.......

..that's what I see on this page, at bottom. It's a little flashy, but not bothersome.
