That one issue is simple.
john mccain = MORE OF THE SAME!
I'm saying this for 2 reasons. First and foremost, it's true. Secondly, the current media circle jerk over Obama's "bitter" remarks.
I feel compelled to say this because of the media circle jerk. I'm not blaming Hillary for trying to make this an issue because she is still in a close race for the nomination (though I believe the issue is settled). I don't blame mccain for raising this because he is, essentially, a lying hypocrite who knows that as the republican nominee he has NO ISSUES on which to run.
The media is, however, running wild with Obama's "bitterness" remarks which are essentially true.
This is amazing given the fact of the free passes given to mccain for "bomb, bomb, bomb...", "How about 100?" and his admissions of not knowing the economy while he engages in the "blame the borrowers and ONLY the borrowers" for the mortgage mess.
BTW, which current major candidate voted against Martin Luther King day as a holiday? And which state is among the last to recognize it as so?
BTW, let's not forget how much attention cheney's "So?" DIDN't get.
I will say it again. There is ONE issue this year.
john mccain = more of the same.
What brought this to mind is an incident from a few days ago. I was wearing a button that I'd made for myself and ChicaAzul. It shows a photo of bush and mccain arm in arm. Underneath I wrote "Do you REALLY want more of the same?". One of ChicaAzul's co-workers read it and said " I just don't know about Obama".
I asked her if she wanted mccain to continue the bush administration and got the usual Ralph Kramdedish "hummana hummana..." that I usually get from republican when they have to use their neglected and very small brains.
The mccain campaign and the rnc and the media will try to make this election about fear, hatred of immigrants, gays, Islam. They will do their best to smear both Barack AND Michelle. They will do their best to avoid any discussion of this failed administration and mccain's (or any other republican's for that matter) practically blind support of it.
We cannot allow this to happen. We owe it to our country, our party, our families and ourselves to not allow it to happen. This election is too important.
john mccain = more of the same. If that's what you want, by all means vote republican. If not, support the Democratic nominee for president, governor or congress. The 44th president (maybe 45+ also) will have to fix this criminal moron's mess, and john mccain = more of the same.
That's it, that's all, farewell and Amen.
PEACE!
