Labor violence: Another sign of a depression.
Anybody want to join me in this prediction: More and more labor violence against union organizers, as was reported here:

"A civil rights lawsuit was filed on Monday, Mar. 17, against several contractors and multiple unnamed defendants after five union organizers were brutally assaulted last Friday while engaged in a lawful picket at a construction site in downtown Los Angeles. The lawsuit filed against contractors Hirex, Golden Gate Steel and its owner, and the unnamed defendants seeks unspecified damages for violations of California Civil Code section 51, assault, battery, and intentional infliction of emotional distress."

Scabs beating union organizers.

I saw movies of strikers breaking Henry Ford's plant windows back in the 1930s, when I was in high school in the 60s, and I think it's gonna get worse, along with the high rates of worker death due to lack of OSHA enforcement and lack of safety practices.

Third sign of a depression: Hundreds of people applying for just a few jobs, standing in line before dawn to apply.
