Petraeus is following orders, doing his job, following the orders of our worthless president. January 09 is waay too late to help the troops before someone with any smarts can do the right thing in Iraq. These hearings are telling, the military isn't running the show, they don't make the decisions that George claims they do. They appear to not know shit. Piece of crap Ambassador is a pitiful example of a representative of the U.S.. He claimed to not know about the statistics on schools, health, water, etc. of the country!! We need George and Cheney on the hot seat. King George refuses to be questioned under oath and no one seems able to demand that he and Chaney answer to us for his mis-deeds, lies, etc. What a weak ass country we have become... no accountability from the powerful.
