Is there ANY chance that
congress is holding up criminal charges(Bolten, Meirs, Rove, etc) so that Monkeyboy cannot pardon anyone on his way out the door? We all know that he will, given the chance? Or is it, as Thom has implied, that Congress has done all it can legally, up to this point?

It still wouldn't explain the lack of impeachment hearings.

4. I think this has been brought up before.
Isn't that exactly what Ford did to pardon Nixon? Has the law changed at all since then?

5. How is that done?
It would be like washing the window of a building that hasnt been built yet. I am unfamiliar with this type of pardon.

3. No. None at all.
They have no intention of holding anyone accountable. At best, a few hearings will be held on distantly related crimes so the issues can get put into the public record but no substantial acts or investigations will be forthcoming. You may not like it but the only alternative is no alternative at all. Welcome to America.

6. It might be that they're afraid of a coup.
Or it could just be spinelessness.
