Interesting numbers. McCain isn't getting any real traction against either Democratic candidate - despite his holiday from serious press scrutiny.

1. Theres no doubt in my mind who our next President will be

but I'll stay mum ;-)

2. McCain will only have a lead in national polls until Obama is nominated.

McCain is seeing the dizzying heights rights now. He won't do any better.

When Obama gets the nod and Dems focus on McCain, the polls will quickly change.

I think even republicans realize this.

3. Obama's convention speech

Will be amazing. Nothing against Clinton. But I think Obama is going to be the nominee and the next president.

I hope he finds a way to bring Clinton into the fold, though.

4. McCain hasn't had any serious opposition

Yet. Believe me, when the general public gets a look at the true JMc , all thinking people will take a more informed look at his views , and his temper.

We need a candidate NOW!
