DU: Need some good progressive advice on topic to choose for finalist video in political contest
Edited on Mon Apr-07-08 10:06 AM by debbierlus
First, thanks DU for voting and helping me advance to the finalist round for the Projectbreakout contest. I won this week's round in first place to advance to the finals. I am trying to win a chance to vlog the Democratic National Convention (they fly you there and you cover it on video), now that I am past round 1, I am trying to figure out the best topic and way of creating the finals video (this one will actually be judged, the first round was open public voting).

Some ideas I have:

A basic history of the Iraq war deception transitioning into the topic of the similiarities of false statements now being applied to Iran.

A top ten questions that should be asked at the democratic national convention: if I choose this, I would love some questions from DU. This might be a better choice because it would give the judges a better idea of how I present questions and discussion in front of a camera.

The Valerie Plame scandal.

Any input and suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks again.
