COURT ORDERS WHITE HOUSE TO HAND OVER DOCUMENTS IN CREW LAWSUIT
http://www.citizensforethics.org/node/31337

31 Mar 2008 // Following an on-the-record conference call on March 28, 2008, District Court Judge Colleen Kollar-Kotelly issued an Order on March 30, 2008 in CREW v. Office of Administration, ordering the Office of Administration (OA), a White House component, to produce documents and information related to its decision that it is no longer an agency subject to the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA).

Judge Kollar-Kotelly agreed with CREW that documents showing when OA determined it was no longer subject to the FOIA and the Federal Records Act are relevant to determining whether OA is an agency and therefore is required to respond fully to CREW's request for documents relating to OA's discovery in the fall of 2005 of millions of e-mails on White House servers.

1. This Administration is "Privileged" and doesn't need to follow any Laws
Whether they be freedom of information or Presidential Papers or obtaining warrants for domestic searches or torture or illegal invasions or

2. It is great that organizations such as CREW are around
With our congresscritters sitting around twiddling their thumbs instead of doing their jobs, it is good that places such as CREW are picking up some of the slack.

7. this is huge... this is the organization that runs the computer systems for the executive branch
human resources, procurement, mail, and security.

Everything that has happened in the administration would be logged somewhere in this agency's paper trail.

The administration has been trying to hide through the bureaucratic dodges around FOIA
