so the bad guys brokered the peace....hmmmm

BAGHDAD, Iraq (CNN) -- Iran was integral in persuading Shiite cleric Muqtada al-Sadr to halt attacks by his militia on Iraqi security forces, an Iraqi lawmaker said Monday.

Haidar al-Abadi, who is with Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki's Dawa Party, said Iraqi Shiite lawmakers traveled Friday to Iran to meet with al-Sadr. They returned Sunday, the day al-Sadr told his Mehdi Army fighters to stand down.

2. This shows who has the real power to create change in Iraq.
It's not Bush or the Iraqi government. It's Sadr and Iran.

3. You're correct as to who has the power to create change,
but have they been doing it all along for the good of Iraq?

7. and you are in a position to tell us what is good for Iraq?
Iraq is the oldest civilization on earth. they have been around five thousand years longer than America, and yet America thinks it is the only nation that can tell them how to behave or how to run their government. If Americans were to pull out completely tomorrow how would that be different from Iraq two thousand years ago? They managed to survive intact for over five thousand years without America's help..

10. I re-read my post several times and don't see where I said
I was in a position to tell "us" what is good for Iraq. Who is "us"? Are you Iraqi?

You might want to provide a little more insight on how you're able to read my mind Agent Mike.

13. Just because you probably don't know:
a statement ends with a . (period), while a question ends with ? (question mark)

4. Smart move by Iran - Reduce violence and defuse *'s excuses for invasion.
Here's to hoping he's being read the riot act on his aggression and empire building from other world leaders.
