... and we would think to ourselves thats not our boys that did that? At least I used to.

1. and now they use torture that doesn't show marks
I was listening to some program on public radio and they were talking about how torture has changed. It's gone from showing marks on purpose as a warning to others, to not showing signs (waterboarding, sleep deprivation) to make it harder to prove it was committed. Strange.

And it will take a LONG time for the U.S. to rebuild its human rights credibility.

All our patriotic young people signing up to serve their country run increased risk of torture if captured by the enemy. We, the USA, no longer have a moral leg to stand on to condemn actions that violate the Geneva Conventions.

GWB sure has a perverse way to "support our troops", doesn't he?
