7. Could be, but IMO
would have to be a very broad pardon; someone's prolly got it written already.

I suspect there's a huge number of offenses, related to u.s. attorneys business; and there's the planned 'take us to war with iraq/PNAC' set of fabrications. '

There are so many violations of law by these folks, imo, that this admin will be sourse of more books than just about any other.

And I love that Rove photo!

2. If we're very lucky... one day YES . . . but I think it will take a long time ---
We have the pressure of Global Warming now . . . very serious situation ---

and putting all of government back to gether ---

But if I were Queen I'd assign a unit to track down these rats ---

They're fascist bullies -- sneaks -- cowards --- so as we begin to succeed in bringing

them to justice, I think the whole thing will fall apart.

I fervently hope so -- !!!

Let's just get them out of the WH --- and make clear to corporate-press, we don't want to see
them anymore --- especially on our TV channels!!

4. One can always hope. bush won't be around to pardon him forever. And
the law finally nailed Al Capone, as slippery as he was. Fouled him on a technicality (got him for tax evasion), but still got him.

I figure he's stepped on so many toes by now, and made so many enemies that the revulsion for him and the burning desire for revenge among some of them will far outlast any remnants of bushies in power. I'd say the time to go after him would be long after bush is out of office, and there's a DEM in the White House. Whatever it takes to nail his ass and send it straight to prison (without anybody hovering nearby to cover for him or pardon him - I'm for.

5. Rove had Better End Up in Prison, or We Have No Law at All Anymore; Scary
I have been following the discussion for the past two days on the Dan Abrams show on MSNBC, a program I had never watched before; it has been really well-done. Shocking, scary. This is so far beyond all the dirt and mud-slinging, etc., even the firings of U.S. attorneys who would not attack Democrats and let Republican criminals go (like now, the "Justice" Dept. announcing it has disbanded the task force investigating the very corrupt bribe-taker Republican Representative Jerry Lewis of Calif.). To think that they now have evidence that Karl Rove, that vile little prick, was behind the operation to get a totally innocent person, the popular Democratic Governor Siegelman of Alabama imprisoned--for how long??--and it was so easy, is just so scary and chilling to me. Even though I knew the basic facts of the case before, the fact that a Judge has now found it was an unjust politically motivated prosecution and ordered the release of Siegelman, has given it a realness it didn't have for me before. This is like Nazi Germany or the Soviet Union, where they would just trump up charges against the highest ranking people, have them taken off to prison, never to be heard from again, and it was all just so easy...

I love your OP's picture and hope it will come true. This Rove has turned to something very evil, very sinister and cruel, to me now, with these very recent events. It really was true, that this bastard knowingly put someone innocent in prison, just so Republicans would win the Governor's office of that State. What a demonic piece of filth; there should be a long, very long prison sentence for this outrage.

6. I wonder if all the "Hatch Act" violations could be summarized in one book.
Edited on Fri Mar-28-08 09:03 PM by sicksicksick_N_tired
I mean, this administration started planning activities violating the act BEFORE they even TOOK power.

P.S. 'complete innocence' is not a necessary element for violations of the Hatch Act,...jus' sayin'
