I Cannot Believe What I See in Our Local Newspaper This Week
This is a free newspaper that is delivered to us once a week, against my will, and that probably meets the definition of "littering."

This week we have one of those "Word Search" puzzles, where you are presented with a matrix of letters and have to find and circle them.

The puzzles are done by the editor.

This week's is "Immigrants: Find 21 Words Associated with Illegal Immigration."

The 21 words are:

Argument
Between
Concrete* (They pour it for us)
Construction* (All they are capable of, other than dealing drugs)
Crossing* (Crossing the Rio Grande, of course!)
Debate
Decision
Died
Drown* (In the Rio Grande, of course!)
Existence (This one really puzzles me: Is the editor trying to be existential, or does he think they should all be killed?)
False (Huh?)
Fight
Government
Gunfire* (Drug dealers shooting at our border patrol, of course!)
Illegal
Immigration
Impossible
Issue
Million* (Millions if not Billions of them!)
Numerous* (Too numerous to count, like a pestilence!)
Warrant* (Warrant for their arrest, because they are all felons, murders, child rapists, etc...)

:sarcasm:

Although I've "*" the entries I find particularly offensive, offering no other commentary, it is obvious how derranged and inflammatory this "puzzle" is.

This is a newspaper that claims to be completely unbiased on political issues. But it has a history of disgusting things like this.

I just can't believe this puzzle.

1. sometimes freedom of the press is a double edged sword
Racists need someone to hate and illegal immigrants are it. They are the most helpless population this country has had in a hundred years. No one seems willing to stand up for them.

I posted a comment a few months ago arguing for compassion in dealing with the problem and even here I got many replies saying round them up and send them back.
